Paragon GPT Loader

The Paragon GPT Loader utility - development of specialists of Paragon Software will help users to overcome restrictions in the amount of the addressed disk space existing in the Windows XP operating system.

Despite high popularity of the seventh version of Windows, Windows XP continues to remain basic operation system on computers of many Russian companies and state structures and also in a segment of home users. Along with it, the volume of the standard hard drive presented at the market constantly grows. In particular, more and more users show interest in the disks 3 TB and more in which the modern technique of breakdown – GPT, the succeeded master boot record (MBR) is used.

Paragon GPT Loader represents the driver which provides compatibility of Windows XP with a GPT marking of hard drives (RAID configurations are not supported). At the same time, GPT Loader will not allow you to use the 3-terabyte carrier as a system disk yet. Full use of the carrier is possible only when the disk is connected as the additional device.

Paragon GPT Loader is generally intended to users of Windows XP. In Windows Vista and Windows 7 the built-in support of disks with a capacity more than 2 of Tb therefore in use of new utilities there is no need is implemented. At the same time, owners of computers with modern versions of Windows can use Paragon GPT Loader for solution of the problem of compatibility of Windows Vista / Windows 7 with the Intel Storage drivers. The Paragon Software utility in this case will allow to bypass this restriction and to continue to use the Intel driver instead of the standard Microsoft driver.
