2024: Entering the Russian market

On June 13, 2024, it became known that the South Korean brand of men's and women's clothing of the premium segment Hazzys entered the Russian market. The first brand store opens in the Aviapark shopping center, located in Moscow on the Khodynsky field.

The Hazzys brand, founded in 2002, is part of the South Korean company LF Corp. Clothing collections are being developed by creative director Hun Kim, who previously worked as a design director at Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. According to the Kommersant newspaper, the Hazzys assortment includes a line of classic clothes, as well as a more sporty rowing club. In addition, capsules with various "prints, silhouettes and layering that does not lose relevance" regularly appear.

Earlier it was reported that the area of ​ ​ the first Russian Hazzys store will be about 300 square meters. The decor, made mainly of wood, will emphasize "the use of natural materials in clothing." The central art object will be a boat, a reference to the legacy of the eponymous rowing club at Cambridge University, which inspired the brand's name.

The distribution of Hazzys clothing in Russia is carried out by LR Retail. Its commercial director Nicolas Schitta notes that at the time of opening, a wide range of Hazzys outerwear will be presented in the Moscow store. The range will include 100% wool coats, cashmere-infused knitwear, products made from modern technological fabrics, corduroy suits, parks, hoodies and sweatshirts, checked shirts and a wide range of accessories.

Thanks to the current design and first-class materials, customers will be able to choose the brand's clothes regardless of season and trends. According to Natalia Kermedchieva, vice president of the Union of Shopping Centers, the company can open about 50 stores in Russia within five years.^[1]
