The BrightConsult (NaviConGroup) company announced end of the consulting project directed to structuring and increase in transparency of purchasing activity of Amway company, the recognized world leader in the field of direct sales. The project was designed to become a starting point in improvement of internal financial discipline of corporation. During the project the analysis of the operating business processes in the field of purchases, collecting and formalization of requirements to a system and also the description of their implementation based on the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 platform was performed.

The project lasting one month was implemented using methodology of Microsoft Sure Step according to which two main stages of the project – the analysis and design were selected. According to the detailed plan made taking into account features of the customer at the first stage specialists of BrightConsult conducted series of interviews with representatives of Amway which allowed to define the main requirements to future system. At a stage of design formalization of requirements and the detailed description of their implementation was carried out. Consultants structuring business processes in the field of purchasing activity of the company, including processes of approval and signing of the contracts on purchase and the accompanying financial procedures was offered. As the platform for implementation the product Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 was selected.
