Lukoil-RNP-Trading"" - wholesale trader and operator of sales oil and gas and petrochemical products of the group "" Lukoil has digitalized sales using the Russian Low-code the platform. ELMA365 This was Elma announced on June 17, 2024.

The project became one of the stages of the digitalization program, approved in 2022, which, in turn, is an element of the development of the LUKOIL-RNP-TRADING management system. 15 specialists from the company and the vendor took part in its implementation. The project was managed according to the agile methodology, which made it possible to complete all work on time and within the approved budget. The transition to methodology was driven by the use of Low-code technology, the underlying ELMA365 platform. It made it possible to quickly develop the first version of the automated process and further increase its functionality, relying on feedback from users.

The main goals of the project were: reducing the bureaucracy of processes, increasing the number of transactions and increasing the level of control.

To achieve the goals, it was necessary to:

  • reduce the duration of coordination through the EDM system from 2-3 days to several hours;
  • solve the problem of lack of time for managers to work with new customers, due to manual preparation of sales reports,
  • minimizing the risk of the human factor in the execution of transactions from the point of view of control.

As a result of the collaboration, it was possible to significantly reduce the burden on sales employees and increase the speed of data processing. Now, for 95% of transactions, decisions are made automatically due to decision matrices implemented in BPMS, and for agency sales, the speed of decision-making has increased 12 times. The internal paper document flow is completely translated into electronic form, all documents are automatically generated in the system, which made it possible to reduce the labor costs of managers by 5-6 times. The heads of commercial divisions also received convenient tools for monitoring processes and a system of operational reports on the activities of their divisions. The possibility of document substitution due to full traceability of the document path is excluded.

This project for LUKOIL Group was the first experience of using Low-code BPMS technology for the main business processes. It is planned to further optimize and automate business processes through ELMA365 and transfer experience to other organizations within the group.

The process approach adopted as the basis for the development of the management system makes it possible to digitize the main activity as clearly and accurately as possible and form the basis for future changes. Automation of LUKOIL-RNP-TRADING sales significantly goes beyond the capabilities of standard CRM and is largely focused on building an end-to-end process. The project team focused on the processes of onboarding the client and optimizing the timing of internal agreements on the terms of sale. Digitalization helps not to lose transactions and make sales without the need to expand the staff.
