2024: Introducing an electric vehicle charging solution
Kama (JSC) creates a comprehensive solution for charging electric vehicles and monetizing charging stations. The developer announced this on June 17, 2024.
The solution combines a cloud platform-aggregator of charging stations and a service for those who are thinking about buying their own charging.
GB/T port of an electric vehicle Atom for fast and slow charging is located in the rear right wing. The cloud platform is the so-called provider eMobility Service Provider (eMSP), which in a single interface provides convenient access to charging stations within the digital ecosystem of the Atom. The functionality provides for a unified method authorizations for charging at any charging stations connected to the platform, as well as a single payment gateway.
The platform allows you to control the charging session by feedback from the telematics of the electric car. Users will be able to view the status of charging stations, search by address or brand, and sort by various parameters, such as connector type, power and tariff. In addition, they will be able to book charging ports, adjust charging session parameters, start charging and receive notifications about its status, pay for charging sessions and view the history of past charging. All information will be displayed on the tablet on the steering wheel, windshield thanks to AR HUD and in the application.
Also, Atom specialists implement the Plug & Charge function to provide seamless authorization and payment for charging sessions, which makes the charging process of an electric car easier and more convenient. After inserting the charging gun into the port - authorization, starting the charging session and payment occur automatically thanks to digital certificates.
Atom uses the charging port standard - GB/T for fast and slow charging. Thanks to this standard, Atom developers can fully implement the capabilities of the developed eMSP platform.
The platform is scheduled to launch in 2025.
At the same time, the Atomic Charge service is being developed and has already been launched in test mode. The service offers a comprehensive service for the selection, sale and installation of a slow charging station for personal use or, if the station is purchased by a legal entity, receiving income from rental. To do this, the charging station connects to the cloud platform, which allows you to control the use of the station and set tariffs.
The Atom Charge offers the development of the infrastructure of slow charging stations, supporting the sharing economy. Customers are offered a full package of services - from station selection to installation and maintenance, as well as the ability to share the station with others and even earn money. The focus on slow charging stations stems from their importance to electric vehicles, as well as the drive to make infrastructure accessible to all stakeholders. said Ruslan Shevchenko, sales product director of the Atom brand.
