2024: Establishment of the Centre

On June 17, 2024, it became known about the start of work of the autonomous non-profit organization "Scientific and Production Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems of the Novosibirsk Region" (SPC ALS).

The organization has been created, all statutory documents have been approved, we are forming a supervisory board, which will form a resident policy, and in the near future we will decide on the platform. It became known about the start of the SPC ALS

According to him, by the end of 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade should hold a competition for the provision of a federal grant in the amount of 1 billion rubles or more. This is a "serious grant" that will allow building production lines, Vasiliev noted.

As for the sites, by mid-June 2024, the option of placing the SPC ALS on the premises of the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU NETI) is being considered, options for placement in the technopark of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok, in the Siberian Research Institute of Aviation, PO Sever and some other enterprises are being worked out.

According to reports, TASS earlier the cost of the Novosibirsk UAV research and production center was estimated at 2 billion rubles. The vice-governor of the region, Irina Manuilova, reported that Novosibirsk it is planned to solve production problems on the basis of the drone center, prepare personnel for UAV control, and create the necessary regulatory regulation.

Anton Ryazantsev, Chairman of the Industrial Council of the NTI Center in the direction of "Technologies for Modeling and Developing New Functional Materials with Specified Properties" (Novosibirsk), also said that 2 billion rubles are needed to create such a center. In particular, in the Novosibirsk SPC it is planned to work on a heavy drone weighing up to 1 thousand kg, he noted.[1]
