On June 17, 2024, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development announced the results of a tender for the supply of equipment for controlling migrants. The work will be performed by Elbrus2000 LLC, and the initial contract price is 52.5 million rubles.

We are talking about a project to develop the departmental segment of the system for the manufacture, execution and control of passport and visa documents of a new generation of the state platform for migration and registration accounting, as well as the manufacture, execution and control of the circulation of identity documents. The competition was held in the format of an electronic auction, while the application came only from the Elbrus2000 company, which eventually became the winner.

The terms of reference provide for the supply of 20 platforms for the production of CIPF (cryptographic information protection tools) with a total value of 16.29 million rubles. In addition, two database servers are purchased in the amount of 14.05 million rubles and three application servers for 8.72 million rubles. The list of other equipment includes three network distributed storage servers, a network management system hardware and software complex, a failover cluster of two firewalls, patch cords and transceivers.

It is noted that each platform for the production of CIPF should be compatible with previously purchased and modified software (Elbrus OS core TVGI.00315-09. Version 314-13-60). All purchased servers must be equipped with a pre-installed Alt 8 SP operating system on a Linux kernel (or equivalent OS) with an indefinite license and built-in software information protection tools. The system shall be included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases. The software and hardware complex of the network management system must be made in the form of a complete solution with pre-installed software and the built-in FreeBSD operating system or its equivalent.[1]
