In the Sakhalin region, the first keyless boat was presented, designed to deliver goods, the press service of the Government of the Sakhalin Region reports on June 17, 2024.

This innovative sea drone successfully made the transition from the village of Taranai to Cape Anastasia, demonstrating its effectiveness and reliability. The Sivuch boat, developed at the Technosphere Center for Technical Creativity of Youth, was created to conduct hydrographic research. Previously, he had already overcome the route from Korsakov to Kholmsk, which confirmed its stability and performance in various conditions. According to government representatives, in the future it is planned to fully automate the process of delivery of goods, eliminating the human factor and increasing the safety of transportation.

The press service of the region noted that the keyless boat has a carrying capacity of 750 kg, which allows it to transport various materials, including construction materials. This is especially true in connection with the plans to build a biological station on Cape Anastasia of the Krillon Peninsula as part of the SakhalinTech project. In the future, the new boat will be used to deliver food, medicine and other important goods for employees of the future biostation.

Alexander Pyrkov, one of the developers, stressed that the range of the boat varies from 5 to 15 km, depending on the weather conditions and the height of the base station installation. In unguided mode, the drone is limited only by its fuel reserve, which allows it to make long flights. The boat weighs only 230 kg, which makes its transportation easy and does not require the use of heavy equipment. The universal body of the drone allows you to quickly adapt it for various purposes. Originally used in the oil and gas sector, the boat will now serve to transport goods to the biostation.[1]
