2024: Implementation of a management decision-making system

Korus Consulting has developed an analytical solution based on Microsoft BI for JSC Siberian Service Company (SSK). The system will allow you to more efficiently collect, analyze and visualize company data. This was announced by Korus Consulting on June 24, 2024.

Management decisions in the SSC are made on the basis of various analytical indicators. To reduce the time to collect information, verify it and design materials, it was necessary to choose a tool that would automate data collection and storage processes, as well as provide access to them through an approved set of reports.

During the project, KORUS Consulting experts, together with specialists and heads of specialized divisions of the SSK, analyzed the sources of information used in regular meetings, designed the structure of the data storage system, configured their automated loading from several sources and MS Excel files into the data warehouse, and also developed interactive analytical panels (dashboards) with the main indicators of the company's activity. In addition, it was possible to centrally store information related to forecasts, factor analysis, and also created unified templates for source data.

The analytical solution significantly reduced the time that managers and heads of planning and economic departments spent on the formation of summary data and the preparation of reports. In addition, it became possible to display the historical data of the company's branches in different analytical sections on the screen during meetings.

In the future, SSC plans to expand the use of the analytical system and use it not only for weekly meetings, but also for holding the Digital Board of Directors, monitoring the investment program and financial indicators. In addition, the company will develop a unified system for viewing all the necessary orders put under control. This will reduce the time for preparing reporting and process analytics, as well as make it possible to get quick access to statistical and historical data.
