Rosreestr buys software and Servers OS on Linux for 862 million rubles

On May 29, 2024, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) announced a tender for the purchase of software for its information and telecommunication infrastructure. The initial contract price is 861.95 million rubles.

The subject of the purchase is the provision of licenses for the use of software, as well as technical support certificates for the implementation of an information and telecommunication infrastructure, which includes a departmental data transmission network, a departmental telephone network, a video conferencing system and a local computer network. We are talking, in particular, about the server operating system on the Linux kernel. It must have a certificate of compliance with the regulatory documents of the FSTEC of Russia: "Information security requirements for operating systems," "Information security requirements for virtualization tools," "Security requirements for containerization tools" and "Protection profile of operating systems of type" A "not lower than class 4 IT.OS.A4.PZ.

The server OS should support the Russian microprocessor architectures Baikal-M and Elbrus-8S. In turn, the video conferencing platform must provide at least 300 simultaneous connections of participants with a resolution of at least 720p. It also requires the ability to hold high definition conferences with a maximum resolution of at least Ultra HD 2160p.

The purpose of the procurement is to provide technological conditions for the access of state registrars, employees, individuals and legal entities to the information contained in the main information systems of Rosreestr (FSIS USRN, FSIS ECP NSPD, FSIS FDGKO, etc.) for the uninterrupted provision of public services, including in electronic form. The term of the contract is until August 31, 2024.[1]
