In the territory of the residential complex Caravel is implemented the system of access to a two-level autoparking. The applied technologies are RFID. The integrator is Vital Electronics company.
Solution
Users of a system manage gate without any manipulations with usual charms, cards or keys. For access existence of a RFID tag on a car windshield is enough.
When the car with the similar card approaches gate and gets to an antenna zone, reading of a tag and data transmission in standard Wiegand26 format on a Gate-4000 controller input is made. Taking into account existence of two channels and two portable antennas the standard Gate-4000 controller perceives the RFID reader as two normal readers INPUTS and VYHOD.
Further the standard operation algorithm of the ACS of a parking with all additional opportunities of Gate can be provided: prohibition of repeated journey, calculation of cars, photoverification on the security guard's server, verification of black and white lists of users, report generation, etc. In this specific example such technology equips two separate entrances — on the 1st and 2nd levels of a parking, respectively. Two readers KT-UHF-WE, four KT-UHF-MA-02 antennas, two Gate-4000 controllers and also a batch of passive tags in the form of cards are for this purpose used.
Specialists in RFID technologies of the St. Petersburg company "Vital Electronics" organized a control system of access to a parking based on the standard Gate-4000 controller and the two-channel reader of RFID tags Keytex KT-UHF-WE. The reader is specially developed by this company for use in standard control systems of access and has 2 channels of an exit under the Wiegand 26 protocol. Taking into account existence of two channels of the reader and two portable antennas the standard Gate-4000 controller perceives the RFID device as two normal readers INPUTS and VYHOD.
This technological solution well is suitable for the organization of the simplest options of control, management and accounting of departmental transport, the organization of parkings of housing complexes, garage cooperatives and building sites.
Feature and advantages of this technology of the organization of access are:
- lack of need of any manipulations with the identifier (the passive RFID card) at the time of access, unlike schemes with radio charms or with proximity cards;
- practicality of passive RFID cards: low price, lack of a battery, impossibility of duplication;
- comparative payback of cost of the RFID reader (in comparison with systems using radio charms) at the number of users of a system more than 250.
