2024: Product Announcement

Multifunctional VR-simulators "Sky-22" for the training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) began to mass-enter military units and training centers of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This became known on July 1, 2024.

The chief information officer of Virtual Simulator Systems "Era" (the developer of these complexes) Vyacheslav Timofeev said that the Nebo-22 simulator includes more than 25 training modules for various types of UAVs. The complex allows you to practice the skills of take-off and landing, dropping payloads, conducting reconnaissance activities, piloting in the "kamikaze" mode, as well as training the departure from the dome of electronic warfare equipment.

A feature of the simulator is the presence of a drone designer added in 2024. This tool makes it possible to independently set the tactical and technical characteristics of any type of UAV and practice control skills taking into account various parameters, including difficult weather conditions.

Most complexes are equipped with real maps of the terrain of combat zones, developed on the basis of satellite images. This allows operators to effectively explore the territory, saving time and resources in preparation for real operations.

The Nebo-22 simulator is already used in a number of military institutions, including the Airborne Forces brigade, the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection, the Kolomna UAV Center and the Vladimir Zhoga Center for Unmanned Systems in Donetsk.

The development of the complex was carried out with the support of the Era investment fund, which is part of the PSB group. The fund provided not only financial assistance, but also helped in finding customers and promoting the product. As a result of successful cooperation, the development company became one of the portfolio companies of the Era Foundation. [1]
