JSC VNIPIET implements three-dimensional technologies of design

The Dassault Systèmes company completes an implementation project of solution 3DVIA Composer in JSC VNIPIET.

In the basis

For improving competitiveness by company management the decision on program implementation of upgrade of the existing information systems was made. Specialists of DS were faced by tasks of creation of 3D models of infrastructure of the atomic power unit using CATIA V6, optimization of installation and construction works using DELMIA and also creation of a single information platform on the basis of ENOVIA V6 which were successfully solved. Besides, for implementation of visual communications during approval of parts of the VNIPIET project used solution 3DVIA Composer that allowed project participants to study the specification of products, to make calculations and to create profiles in 3D. In spite of the fact that parts of the project are not up to the end approved, application of solution 3DVIA Composer will allow specialists to develop further necessary methodical documentation for management, maintenance and repair of power stations.

About the complete solution

The company Dassault Systèmes (DS), completed implementation in JSC VNIPIET solutions CATIA V6 DELMIA, ENOVIA V6 and 3DVia Composer. As a result at the enterprise the unified information system providing a possibility of joint work and operational interaction of all participants of process of creation of construction objects of the NPP, integration of technical documentation into the existing model was created.

Results

The implementing solutions DS on V6 platform allowed specialists of institute to create model of nuclear and turbine islands of the Leningrad NPP-2, to simulate such processes as transportation of a large-size load, transactions on its loadings and the layout on a building site, installation into position of the device of localization of fusion (URL), installation of the enlarged blocks of the pressure shell of the nuclear island and so forth and also to organize uniform archive of the work documentation of the enterprise.
