2024: Presentation of "DateRu DD9410" and "DateRu DD9910" models

The Russian vendor of technological solutions and services DataRu has updated the line of specialized backup storage systems and added models - "DataRu DD9410" and "DataRu ДД9910." These devices enable organizations to protect and recover their data on a large scale, from peripherals to large data centers. The developer announced this on July 3, 2024.

The data DSS is for tasks, backup archiving, and disaster recovery. The DD9410 and DD9910 models are based on the server processors Intel two-socket Xeon (Sapphire Rapids) and are made in the 2U form factor. The system supports up to 768 GB of RAM in the DD9410 model and up to 2048 GB in the DD9910 model, thereby providing high performance for both traditional and new innovative tasks.

Compared to previous models - DateRu DD9400 and DateRu DD9900 - the presented DSS show higher backup speeds - up to 38%, as well as recovery speeds - up to 44%. The equipment scales an effective capacity of up to 1.5 PB per unit and reduces power consumption by 11%.

As a result of internal testing, data from the DSS model also demonstrated one of the best data deduplication rates at 65.
