2024: Appointment as CEO of Medskan

In early July 2024, it became known about the appointment of Timur Mubarakshin as the new general director of the Medskan group of companies. The change in the head of the network of clinics is evidenced by the data of the Kontur. Focus service, which Zdrav.Expert got acquainted with.

According to Vedomosti, citing data from the SPARK-Interfax system, Mubarakshi became the fifth general director of Medskan over the past four years - from mid-2020. To the question of the publication about what is the reason for such a frequent rotation of top management and whether the increase in the share of Rosatom's structure in the holding from 25 to 50% influenced the change of the general director, the representative of Medskan replied that "the strengthening of the team is due to the new development strategy of the company."

The GC reported that the strengthening of the team is associated with a new development strategy. The main task of the head of the holding for the coming years will be to scale up the business.

Medskan intends to create a network of medical hubs in the 100 largest Russian cities by 2030. The network will be based on multidisciplinary medical centers and centers for radionuclide diagnostics and therapy. Analysts say Medskan will need additional funding to expand its network of clinics in Russia.

According to experts interviewed by the publication, Mubarakshin, who previously headed the branch of the Israeli Hadassah, is able to provide uniform quality standards in the network of clinics acquired by Medskan, which have already been implemented in the capital's hospital. In addition, Mubarakshin integrated lean practices into Hadassah's work, according to the newspaper's interlocutors. As the press service of the group clarified to Vedomosti, Medskan joined the Lean Polyclinic project (created by Rosatom to improve business processes) in 2023 and began introducing new standards in eight clinics, including an Israeli hospital led by Mubarakshin.[1]
