2024: Co-owners and top managers of Zvonko Digital increased shares in the company

On July 10, 2024, it became known that co-owners and top managers of the largest distributor of digital content in Russia, Zvonko Digital, increased their shares in the company. The move could be part of preparations for a possible sale of the asset, which has been talked about since 2022.

According to Kommersant, Alexander Sukhotin, one of the founders of Zvonko Digital and CEO of the Russian Authors Society (RAO), increased his stake in the company from 11.25% to 36.25% in April 2024. At the same time, the general director of Zvonko Digital Alexei Lukinov increased his share in the music publishing house Soyuz Music from 45% to 70% and in the label Studio Soyuz from 26% to 51%. These companies are part of Zvonko Digital.

Co-owners and top managers of the largest distributor of digital content in the Russian Federation Zvonko Digital increased their shares in them. The company was estimated at 1.3 billion rubles.

In addition, since June 28, Alexei Lukinov has acquired a 45% stake in Firm Elvi LLC, previously owned by producer Viktor Drobysh. LLC Firm Elvi owns a 61.5% stake in Novy Vek Bank, which provides loans to companies in the music industry. In June, this bank received a 68% stake in the First Music Publishing House (PMI) label, one of the main partners of Zvonko Digital.

Zvonko Digital, formerly known as the "National Digital Aggregator," is dedicated to uploading music tracks to streaming platforms, raising revenue and transferring funds to artists or record labels. The company includes PMI, National Music Publishing House, Soyuz Studio, Soyuz Music and Effective Records. Among the artists represented are such popular performers as Leningrad, Zivert, Maxim and Lyusya Chebotina. According to SPARK-Interfax, 41.25% of the company belongs to RAO executive director Alexei Karelov, 36.25% to Alexander Sukhotin, and 22.5% to Vaptak LLC.

Anna Avakimyan, chief analyst at Regblock, estimates the cost of Zvonko Digital to 1.3 billion rubles - "this corresponds to 1.1-2.1 capital, or 1.2-2.4 gross profit[1]
