Education

In 1997 he graduated from the Buguruslan Agricultural College, having received the qualification of mechanical engineering, in 2004 - the Kama State Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Career

2000-2003

In 2000, he was employed by the Center for Chief Mechanic of OJSC KAMAZ"" as a mechanic of mechanical assembly works of the 4th category, later he was transferred to the post of foreman-foreman.

In 2003, Oleg Kosarev's career continued at Kamazinstrumentspetsmash OJSC in the positions of mechanic of mechanical assembly work and foreman of the tooling workshop.

In October 2003, he became a foreman in the repair and maintenance workshop of technological equipment of workshops manufactured by MOTOR of Kamaz-Diesel OJSC.

2006-2017

In 2006-2007 He worked as shift manager and deputy shop manager for the technical part of the same division.

Then he began working at CJSC Cummins Kama, where he worked as a mechanical engineer, head of the Block Line project, head of the Production Process Support department, and director of procurement and logistics.

In September 2017, he became executive director of Kama Diesel JSC.

2024: Appointment as CEO of KamAZ Engines Plant

In February 2024, Oleg Kosarev was appointed General Director of the KamAZ Engines Plant, replacing Sergei Snarsky in this post. The latter will continue to work in the structure of KamAZ. At the same time, Snarsky's new position was not disclosed.

Before heading the KamAZ Engines Plant, Oleg Kosarev worked as executive director of Kama Diesel JSC^[1]
