Data center in Bishkek built with the participation of DataDome

2024: Data Centre Launch

Tier III commercial data center has been put into operation in Kyrgyzstan. System Integrator DataDome participated in the project as a technical customer. The company announced this on July 11, 2024.

Previously, there was only one data center of this level of reliability in Kyrgyzstan - the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. Now the government agencies and corporate business of Kyrgyzstan have also been able to place IT equipment and services in a highly reliable data center.

The data center operator was DataTime ‒ an engineering company specializing in the creation and operation of a reliable engineering infrastructure of the data center. The data center will accommodate 100 server racks with a total power of more than 500 kW. In the future, it is planned to expand the capacity of another 20 server racks. The data center air conditioning systems are reserved according to the N + 1 scheme, the uninterrupted power supply system ‒ according to the 4/3N scheme. DPC power supply is provided from two substations, including a UPS system with batteries designed to maintain the DPC autonomous operation for 10 minutes, as well as two 1 MW diesel generator sets with a fuel reserve of 12 hours.

The DataDome System Integrator (DatDom LLC) has played the role of a technical customer in the process of creating a data center. DataDome experts were responsible for the formation of the main parameters of the data center, for the development of technical solutions and architecture of engineering systems, the creation of a technical concept, and they also developed a technical assignment for design. During the work, the DataDome team supported the design process of the RD stage, including checking the documentation and organizing the interaction of all contractors. Also, DataDome specialists monitored the timing of design and construction, the quality of construction and installation work and compliance with the project budget.

The construction of the data center taking into account civil construction, site improvement, supply and installation of engineering equipment, commissioning took only one year.
