According to CNews, the main IT integrator of the Rosseti group of companies plans to purchase licenses for domestic software, as well as servers and storage systems. The purpose of the purchase is to create an integrated information security system in the Moscow and Samara divisions of Rosseti Tsigna.

In the terms of reference for the tender, the company identified several main types of supplied software. Among them are software for content filtering, data leakage protection, antivirus protection, communication channel protection, access control and operational monitoring of information security events.

To filter content and antivirus protection, Rosseti Tsygna plans to purchase a license for the Astra Linux Special Edition operating system and 900 licenses for Kaspersky Security antivirus. To protect against data leakage, the company buys the hardware and software complex Garda Enterprise, developed by Garda Technologies LLC.

In order to protect communication channels and access control, the Continent-AP corporate application will be purchased from the Security Code company. To promptly monitor information security events, Rosseti Tsygna plans to purchase licenses for MaxPatrol Security Information and Event Management software from Positive Technologies.

In addition, the company will acquire one of the most popular database management systems in Russia - Postgres Pro. For the operation of the purchased software, Rosseti Tsifa also plans to purchase server equipment with high technical characteristics.

The tender for the purchase was published on June 26, 2024. Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition will last until July 12, 2024, and the supplier will be selected on July 17, 2024.[1]
