Meridian Global has implemented the Enterprise Laboratory Management 1C:LIMS system . Extension for 1C:ERP and 1C: KA, "developed by 1C:April Soft, which announced this on July 12, 2024.

Meridian Global LLC was registered in November 2021 as the management company of the group, which operates head offices. In addition, the group includes Meridian LLC, Nord Pak LLC and others.

At the end of 2023, within the framework of the automation project at: 1CERP Holding Management, there was a need to develop a quality subsystem due to the need:

  • Record the results of various types of studies and record laboratory tests.
  • Organize the accounting of samples, planning and decommissioning of materials and reagents during research.
  • Control and traceability of quality of raw materials, semi-finished products, final products with issuance of certificates and quality certificates.
  • Monitor the level of non-conformities by supplier, manufacturing and product group using statistical quality reports.

Since all this already exists in the system "1C:LIMS Enterprise Laboratory Management. Extension for 1C:ERP and 1S:KA "from" 1C:April Soft, "the choice was stopped on it.

The main and most priority system capabilities for the customer were considered:

  • Automatic generation of control requests and their entry on the basis of commodity movement documents.
  • Automated workstations - AWS of the Laboratory Assistant and AWS of the QC.
  • Recording of third-party inspections.
  • Maintaining a database of quality indicators and test methods
  • Setting up quality check prefixes;
  • Loading Measurement Results from file Excel
  • Setting and automatic filling of certificates and quality certificates;
  • Maintaining and storing templates of printed forms of regulatory documents.

Meridian Global turned to 1C: April Soft to learn the 1C:LIMS software product as soon as possible. Enterprise Laboratory Management. Extension for 1C:ERP and 1C: KA. "

The implementation was carried out by the own staff of the customer's IT specialists with the support of 1C:April Soft.

To achieve the set goals, the following was completed:

  • Demonstration of the capabilities of the software product and its shipment.
  • Educating users on all features.
  • Consulting on current issues.
  • Support users during the commissioning phase.

According to the customer, during the training, not only work with the program was provided, but also its configuration.

Based on the results of using the software product, it was noted that "the Enterprise Laboratory Management 1C:LIMS. Extension for 1C:ERP and 1C: KA ":

  • Reduces routine information collection operations.
  • Increase the speed of data transfer to the information system by integrating with the equipment and using the analyst's mobile application, as well as ensure the reliability of this data by reducing the impact of the human factor.
  • Supports GLP, GAMP, GALP, ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Allows quality control and traceability of batches of raw materials and materials throughout the process chain.

As of July 2024, the product is being adapted to the needs of the enterprise.

The system was put into operation in 01.04.2024. 20 workplaces were automated.

The most significant results for the enterprise from the use of the product are:

  • Reduction of time for preparation of applications for inspections and registration of control results, preparation of printed forms of regulatory documents.
  • Reduction of the volume of paper document circulation and interaction "outside the 1C system."
  • Increase lab transparency and access to the current status of checks.
  • Maintain and store information about suppliers and the quality of raw materials supplied.
