2024: BSS joins Murmansk Pharmacy

In mid-July 2024, the St. Petersburg pharmaceutical holding "BSS" announced the accession of the Murmansk Pharmacy Murmansk company, specializing in the retail trade in medicines.

According to Kommersant, information on the reorganization of a legal entity by joining Murmansk Pharmacy LLC to BSS LLC was published on July 11, 2024 at Fedresursk. The decision to join was made on July 8, 2024 by the only member of BSS LLC.

BSS LLC, registered in St. Petersburg in 1996, is a major player in the pharmaceutical market in Russia. The company, owned by Eduard Zakhrabekov, has an extensive structure, including 13 branches, industrial and warehouse complexes, a distribution network, as well as a direction for working with the state order. In addition, BSS owns the Aloe pharmacy chain, which has 576 outlets throughout the country.

The company "Murmansk Pharmacy," founded in 2015, specializes in the retail trade of medicines through pharmacies and has 40 branches in the Murmansk region.

This merger is not the first step of BSS to expand its business. In recent years, the holding has created a number of new companies, including BSS-Cosmetics, BSS-Aesthetics and BSS-Lab, which are engaged in the distribution of various medical goods and equipment. In 2021, BSS also entered the market for children's and medical nutrition, creating the BSS Food company^[1]
