2024: Implementation of software and hardware multimedia complex

INTACT has introduced a software and hardware multimedia complex for the Administration of the Arkhangelsk Region. Modern solutions have created a convenient space for holding events of various formats. Intact announced this on July 15, 2024.

The project was aimed at comprehensive modernization of multimedia systems. The key requirements of the customer for the updated infrastructure were the reliability and fault tolerance of all systems, the availability of warranty and service services, as well as the possibility of developing a multimedia complex in accordance with the emerging needs of the Administration.

In the process of updating multimedia systems, it was necessary to take into account the variability of the events. Various options for technical components were worked out, equipment testing and quality analysis were carried out. The result of the pre-design stage was the development of a comprehensive technical solution that meets all the functional requirements of the customer.

During the implementation of the project, INTACT specialists in a short time carried out the entire range of work: dismantling outdated equipment and supplying new equipment, installing engineering infrastructure, preparing a crossing room, equipping it with a high-tech multimedia complex, and also set up all the equipment.

The technological basis of the project was the best solutions from manufacturers of specialized equipment. As the main means of display, an LED screen measuring 3840x2160 mm and a pixel pitch of 1.86 mm was chosen. When choosing the technical characteristics of the screen, the customer's wishes to preserve the architecture of the hall and integrate the equipment into the interior space with layout features were taken into account. The solution provided ensured the intelligibility and readability of information from all the delegates' workplaces.

As additional means of displaying collective use, a solution with motorized projection screens and two laser projectors that descend on an elevator from a raised ceiling is used. This solution is implemented out of the need to hold events with a full seating of the hall, including invited guests, as well as the ability not to clutter the unique architecture of the hall with regular use.

For the convenience of working with documents, the hall is equipped with duplicate and personal high-tech display tools. Personal monitors are integrated into the countertop at each delegate's workplace. Personal monitors with a silent height adjustment mechanism were used to create a comfortable and functional space during speeches on the presidium and tribune.

Automatic guidance of cameras on the speaking delegate is implemented in the hall, integration of the congress system with the control system and cameras is carried out, audio and video switching of signals is provided, which makes it possible to output individual sources of video signals to different groups of display means, which expands the scenarios for using the multimedia complex.

Multimedia systems not only combine text, sound, video and graphics, technologies significantly expand the boundaries of collaboration information with and create the most efficient workspace.
