2024: Launch of a public cloud in the Far East

Rostelecom""provider IT and full-cycle services RTK-DPC"" launched a public cloud platform in the Far East. Companies have access to industrial-scale virtual infrastructure - more than 6.9 thousand vCPU, 18 TB vRAM and 1 PB of disk space with various types of disks. Customers will be able to rent infrastructure resources to operate their IT systems according to the service model (IaaS, Infrastructure-as-a-Service) with 24/7/365 technical support. As of July 2024, public cloud services are available in all regions of the Rostelecom group's presence.

The public cloud is deployed on the basis of the existing TIER III data center in Vladivostok and meets the requirements for security and reliability of data storage and processing.

For companies that are under pressure on IT the system during peak periods, the cloud infrastructure allows you to flexibly manage resources: temporarily increase them to maintain continuous business operation and reduce them during a period of decline in user activity. This saves costs and reduces losses caused by downtime due to unstable infrastructure.
