2024: Appointment as CEO of Krymenergo

On July 19, 2024, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced the appointment of Maxim Shklyarsky as the new general director of the republic's largest energy company, Krymenergo. He replaced Vyacheslav Gaiduk, who led the enterprise since November 2023.

Before heading Krymenergo, Maxim Shklyarsky worked for the company as director of services and electricity transmission.

Shklyarsky will start working as the general director of Krymenergo on July 22, 2024. Aksenov thanked for the work of the former leader. The head of Crimea noted that he took over the management of the enterprise in a critical situation. Aksenov noted that Gaiduk was not afraid of difficulties. He made the right and effective decisions.

The head of the region also noted that the new management of the enterprise is faced with the task of building stable feedback with consumers, debugging the work of hotlines. According to him, "managers, not call center specialists, should respond to citizens' appeals." In this case, all chains of information transfer must be excluded. It is noted that the new Krymenergo team will take a course towards improving the efficiency and transparency of work, improving interaction with the population and solving urgent problems as soon as possible.
