2024: Product Announcement

On July 22, 2024, it became known that Russian developers presented a miniature drone suppressor "Karman," which had already passed successful tests in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). The new device is designed to suppress the control channels of unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to TASS, the Karman suppressor was developed by specialists from the Laboratory 13 design bureau (KB ). The device is capable of operating in both autonomous and automatic mode, using control signals from the Oko-P drone detector.

Russia, presented a miniature drone suppressor "Pocket." It is already used on the WO

Representatives of KB "Laboratory 13" noted that the "Pocket" was created specifically for infantry units, artillery crews and evacuation groups. The main advantages of the new suppressor are its compact size and affordable price - up to ₽30 thousand.

During tests at the front, the device showed high efficiency. The FPV-drone lost control at a distance of 150 m from the suppressor, and the Mavik drone hung in place at a distance of 200 m.

The developers are working on the revision of "Pocket" taking into account the comments received during the tests. The main requirement is to improve the masking of the device. The aluminum case used, while providing good heat removal and impact resistance, can unmask the position due to glare in the sun.

KB Laboratory 13 announced plans to create a whole line of Karman suppressors for different suppression frequency bands - 700, 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz.
