Peacock (complex for masking communication means)

Product
Developers: Technical Reforms
Date of the premiere of the system: July 2024
Branches: MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

2024: Application of the complex

In July 2024, the Russian army began using the Peacock complex to mask communications. This complex provides enemy misinformation, creating false signals that lead to incorrect location and target designation.

The Peacock complex is capable of supplying false radio and GSM signals, imitating a crowd of people, which forces the enemy to waste ammunition. The range of the complex is 40 kilometers, which allows you to effectively mislead the enemy artillery calculations.

Complex management does not require special preparation and configuration, which makes its use as simple as possible. Engineers note that even a child can cope with Peacock. The device has a lightweight design and can be deployed by one person. The complex integrates various types of communication, including radio communication, Wi-Fi, satellite and analog modems, UAV consoles, electronic warfare transmitters and other radiating devices, bringing them to a safe distance from operators.

The Peacock complex allows you to organize reliable network-centric combat control systems, and also provides broadband transit of LANs with a ring Ethernet topology. It supports client-server encrypted software for voice and file transmission, integration with GIS and synchronization with electronic warfare systems.

The variants of the complex comply with the classes of protection from IP54 to IP68 and military standards MIL-STD-810 from 810C to 810G, which makes it resistant to various external influences. The equipment allows you to effectively protect operating units from direction finding and ensures the safety of radio traffic.

The complex includes "Peacock_UM" transmitter remote units and "Peacock_PU" control units. The remote units are placed at a considerable distance from the internal operator units, which protects the command staff and other operators during the radio exchange. The control panel "Peacock_PU" is designed to be located inside protected objects, such as headquarters, ammunition depots and [1].
