"Innovation Cluster" automated accounting in "1C" and "BIT. Construction"

On July 22, 2024, First Bit announced the completion of the Innovation Cluster automation project. The unified database under the management of solutions "1C: Accounting" and "BIT. Construction" combined management, operational and financial accounting, budgeting and detailed control over the implementation of design work by the general contractor construction organization.

For our company, choosing an IT partner was a strategically important stage in business development. It was necessary to optimize our business processes and improve the efficiency of project management. We analyzed the market and settled on the company "First Bit," which has specialized experience. Taking into account the launch of several large projects at the same time, it was decided to use the "quick launch" method of the target information system. As such a system, a solution was chosen that includes the functionality of the BIT module. Construction and the 1C: Accounting system, the typical functionality of which corresponded as much as possible to the functional requirements we formulated, "said Lyudmila Sidorina, Financial Director of Innovation Cluster LLC.

As a result of the tight deadlines and the strategic need to quickly launch the project, the implementation of the system was carried out without a preliminary pre-design inspection. After the introduction of the standard functionality, a register of necessary improvements was formed, prioritized for subsequent implementation. The project was implemented in accordance with the Agile methodology, which made it possible to complete the implementation of the system with major improvements and integrations in less than 6 months - from October 2023 to February 2024.

The design took place under the conditions of dynamically changing business processes. The project team involved in the implementation process developed procedures for the implementation of the main business processes. This significantly complicated the work of the project group, but made it possible to fulfill the tasks set for the project - to implement a bundle of products that meets the customer's expectations and can scale up along with the growth of his business, - said Sidorina Lyudmila, Financial Director of Innovation Cluster LLC.

As a result of the successful implementation, the Innovation Cluster company received a universal information environment that covers all the main business processes of the general contractor and their corresponding functions. It has 451 automated workplaces and supports the simultaneous work of at least 250 users. For secure and efficient access control, all solutions used have been integrated with the PERCo-Web access control system.

The IT integrator "First Bit" has adapted the subsystems "Procurement Management," "Warehouse Management," "Budgeting," "Treasury," "Calculation of Cost of Construction Objects," "Scheduling" and "Project Progress Management construction " to the customer's requests.

One of the peculiarities of the customer's contract regulations is the use of the contract price statement (commercial prices) instead of the cost estimate bases. An innovative processing of loading data from complex Excel tables was developed, converting them into a hierarchical data structure in "1C."

The development team has automated processes for the creation and approval of contract documentation, including the document "Request for Contract," in which significant conditions for concluding a contract are filled out. Automation of coordination and sighting reduced the amount of paperwork by 80%.

In addition, two mobile applications were introduced into the work - BIT.finance and Mobile Foreman. They were used for the processes of coordinating documentation and planning the provision of construction facilities with resources, which improved internal communication and made it possible to make decisions more quickly.

With quality training from the First Bit team, users can easily adapt the system to changing business requirements, customize matching algorithms, create arbitrary reports, and integrate additional data sources for management reporting. This not only increases the flexibility and adaptability of our system, but also reduces reliance on external system tuning service providers.
