Delivery of 12 sets Geoscan 701
The group of companies "" Geoscan transferred EMERCOM of Russia 12 sets of unmanned aircraft systems Geoscan 701 under the national project "ALS." They will be used in various, regions countries including to arctic zone prevent emergencies, eliminate the consequences of natural disasters and monitor the situation. Geoskan announced this on December 16, 2024.
An unmanned aircraft of the Geoskan 701 type can perform video monitoring in the optical and infrared ranges, as well as conduct APIs while in the air for up to 10 hours. Thanks to this, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be able to conduct long-term monitoring of fire, flood and ice conditions in real time, to ensure the performance of search work in hard-to-reach areas, in water areas, in forests and in the mountains.
ALS will help detect the sources of accidents and emergencies, eliminate their consequences, assess the scale and damage, conduct search and rescue operations, and control the ice situation. At the same time, the launch point of the drone can be at a considerable distance from the subject.
Given the long distances, difficult weather and landscape conditions, the use of ALS in remote regions is the most effective and safe way to obtain information about the real situation on the ground during an emergency in order to make competent management decisions when eliminating their consequences. In addition, EMERCOM specialists will be able to use ALS to create orthophofuels of given areas and 3D models of potentially dangerous objects in order to assess the risks of emergencies and minimize their consequences, - commented Mikhail Mezhuev, head of the department for work with particularly significant customers of Geoskan Moscow. |
Tests in EMERCOM of Russia
