INTACT has completed a project to modernize the local computing network of the AKRIKHIN Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant. The implementation of the project made it possible to increase throughput, improve fault tolerance and improve the approach to managing the computer network of the plant enterprises. INTACT conducted a comprehensive audit of the network infrastructure, developed a network modernization plan, delivered, switched and commissioned new equipment.

As part of the modernization, LAN building technologies were used, including the introduction of the VXLAN standard, which allows you to scale the network and services. The LAN management and monitoring system has been deployed, which provides centralized access to all components of the network infrastructure, backs up configurations of active network equipment and collects information about the current state of devices under the control of this subsystem. To improve the reliability and fault tolerance of the network, LAN core level switches are diversity. As part of the project, INTACT technicians have integrated the new LAN system with the customer's existing information systems.

The introduction of technological solutions made it possible to significantly improve the key indicators of the network infrastructure: the system reliability increased due to ensuring fault tolerance of each network node and connection between them, the LAN bandwidth increased, the productivity and efficiency of using network equipment resources increased, the equipment switching significantly improved due to the cable management. The planned volume of LAN provides for the possibility of scaling the infrastructure in the future.
