In Russia, they launched mass production of innovative camouflage "invisible suits" for the military, capable of blurring silhouettes in the infrared range. This became known on July 25, 2024. About 600 units of this high-tech equipment, necessary to ensure the safety of military personnel in the area of a special military operation, are coming off the assembly line every month.

According to TASS, the developer HiderX reported high demand for camouflage in the WO zone. A company spokesman stressed the critical importance of these suits for moving around at night and rotating personnel.

The new masking kits are designed to meet today's threats. Most FPV drones used by the Ukrainian armed forces are equipped with thermal imagers capable of detecting targets by thermal signature at a distance of 100-200 meters. Innovative suits are designed to mitigate this threat, providing effective protection against detection.

The masking effect is achieved thanks to special processing of the material and a unique pattern in the form of broken lines. The weight of the product varies from 280 to 400 grams depending on the size, which does not create an additional load on the fighters.

As of July 2024, about 600 "invisible suits" are used in the zone of a special military operation. They are used in all directions, including Kharkiv. Despite the increase in production, the need for these protective equipment remains high, given the length of the contact line exceeding 1000 kilometers.

HiderX has developed two main models of camouflage equipment. Muskhalat "Kora" mimics the texture of tree bark, which makes the serviceman virtually invisible in a wooded area. The Geometry camouflage cloak uses a pattern of broken lines, effectively blurring the human silhouette against any background.[1]
