2024: Creating an IT Park

In Nizhnekamsk, it is planned to open a modern IT park in the building of automobile and railway stations. The preliminary cost of the project is estimated at ₽1,3 billion. This became known on July 26, 2024 at a meeting in the House of Soviets, where the prospects for the implementation of this project were discussed. The IT park is expected to become a hub for innovation and attract highly skilled personnel to the city.

According to the NTR 24 TV channel, State Duma deputy Aydar Metshin, representatives of the city administration, city-forming enterprises, as well as the ministries of digital development and industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and IT companies took part in the discussion. The meeting considered various aspects of the project, including its technical implementation and socio-economic importance for the region.

The new space will be multifunctional, while the building will continue to function as train stations thanks to the provided space. The project includes the reconstruction of two buildings and the improvement of the adjacent territory, which will create a unique location for the city.^[1]
