Navy Day is closely connected with the name of Peter I: it was under him that in July 1714 the Russian fleet won the Battle of Gangut, and this was the first triumph of the domestic fleet at sea in Russian history. In 2024, the holiday fell on July 28. The parade in St. Petersburg was attended by 20 surface ships and boats, one submarine and four sailing vessels.

To organize the shooting and broadcast of the Navy parade, Sinterra Media provided for Channel One the transmission of high-definition TV signals from a mobile television station (PTS) and cameras on Strelka Vasilievsky Ostrov, Universitetskaya Embankment, at the Admiralty and Kunstkamera in St. Petersburg to the central hardware channel in Moscow.

Viewers of Channel One were able to appreciate the most spectacular moments of the parade in the air, on the ground and on the water, "said Grigory Uryev, General Director of Sinterra Media.
