The implemented project corresponds to the strategy of replacing foreign IT manufacturers and distributors of Softline Group of companies in terms of market transformation and development.
Previously, the customer was looking for a solution to replace the server operation system of a foreign vendor. Softline Group of companies is one of the key IT partners of the holding company and implements many projects of digital development of the customer. Focusing on the high results of the previous joint work, the representatives of the holding again turned to the group of companies for help in the selection and supply of an import-independent OS.
Having studied the needs of the holding, the project team presented the company with possible solutions. At the piloting stage, a joint choice was made in favor of Astra Linux. When considering procurement options, Softline Group of companies specialists presented to the customer Softline Enterprise Agreement (SEA) - a comprehensive service for the purchase and operation of hazardous works.
One of the key advantages of acquiring Russian software through SEA was consultations on migration, training specialists and technical support. All services are provided in a single window. As part of the service benefits program, the customer will be able to use the services of Premier Services and Softline Academy. In addition, the holding gained access to the License Center, which allows you to conveniently manage software assets, and to the democaph, where users can test other solutions of interest. Thus, joining SEA provided the customer with the opportunity to make a comfortable transition to import-independent solutions.
After analyzing the benefit, representatives of the holding company decided to conclude a three-year agreement under the Astra Group ProStandard program under SEA, ensuring the possibility of installments for payment.
As part of the project, the customer also acquired licenses for the video conferencing system and the TrueConf messenger through SEA. The reason for including the decision in the agreement was the disconnection of cloud services of foreign providers. Trukonf solutions run on its own communication protocol and are deployed in the customer's loop, which makes them independent of locks and external providers, and also guarantees the customer full control over communications.
Now the holding company is provided with an import-independent server operating system, which significantly reduced the digital risks associated with the departure of foreign vendors from the Russian market.
