In early August 2024 To Moscow , a second electric vehicle brand was introduced "Atom" in - a D-class sedan called Lightning. The department transport Moscow said that the car was created on a domestic platform.

The Lightning is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, which "features high specific power and good efficiency over a wide range of torque." The rated power is 50-80 kW (68-108 horsepower), while the peak power reaches 110-150 kW. (150-204 horsepower).

The electric car has a fully independent suspension on the subframes and a steel body frame, in the lower part of which there is a liquid-cooled battery pack. The battery capacity is 85 kVt·ch, but the range on a single charge as of early August 2024 has not been disclosed. The car received an electric steering rack with a variable gain. The wheels can range in size from 18 to 20 inches. Mentioned are ABS and ESP systems, seat belt pretensioners, non-fastened belt sensor, front airbags, etc. According to the Motor.ru resource, electric seat adjustments are provided - longitudinal, in height, in the angle of inclination of the back and pillow, as well as in the length of the pillow. In this case, the height of the head rest is adjusted manually.

It is noted that the Lightning electric car is made on a universal platform providing for the use of standardized components. Different types and models of all-electric vehicles can be designed on this platform. This approach improves production efficiency, simplifies the assembly process, reduces cost and accelerates the introduction of new cars to the market.^[1]
