2024: Implementation of EDMS "Delo"

State institutions of the Republic of Mordovia are switching to electronic document management. The platform for organizing paperless documentary processes is the Delo electronic document management system of Electronic Office Systems, which announced on August 8, 2024.

The introduction of the EDMS "Delo" in state institutions is part of the regional project "Digital Public Administration." Its main task is to completely move from paper workflow to digital documentation support for management activities.

The Delo electronic document management system has been used in the state authorities of the Republic of Mordovia for about 20 years, and since 2005, the ministries and departments of the region have deployed local EDMS without their integration with each other. In 2012, the task was set to abandon patchwork automation of electronic document management and introduce a centralized EDMS in order to cover the entire republic in the future. The large-scale implementation of the EDMS "DELO" in the state and municipal authorities of the Republic of Mordovia began in August 2013.

As of August 2024, more than 1,000 organizations in the republic are connected to this system: the Delo EDMS has been introduced in all executive bodies of state power, local self-government bodies, as well as in their subordinate institutions and the MPSC. Documentation exchange between these organizations can take place online, without additional costs for postal forwarding and printing paper materials. In order to effectively use the capabilities of the software product, including switching from paper to electronic business management, employees of government agencies undergo training every time the program is updated, as well as periodic retraining to consolidate user skills.
