2024: The national project "Personnel" is being launched in Russia. Main parameters

In Russia, from January 1, 2025, the national project "Personnel" is launched, the structure of which will include four federal projects for the employment of graduates, transformation of approaches to the professional development of workers, reducing the duration of temporary disability and involving young people in entrepreneurial activities. This became known at the end of July 2024.

According to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, first of all, it is necessary to form a flexible and effective system for training specialists, focused on the needs of the economy. Qualified specialists are the basis of enterprises of all sectors of the economy, even the most innovative and technological, Mishustin emphasized at a strategic session on the national project "Personnel."

The national project "Personnel" is being launched in Russia

An integral part of the national project will be the forecast of the personnel need of the economy for the five-year period with its annual updating. It must be directly related to the control figures for admission to universities and colleges in order to calculate the training parameters of professionals on its basis.

On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the passport of the national project "Personnel" should be formed by September 2024. Also, by the end of 2024, an updated forecast of the need for the economy in personnel should be prepared not only by types of economic activity, but also by vocational qualification groups.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova instructed the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to analyze the feasibility of modernizing the retraining system, using the experience of retraining centers at enterprises. The Ministry of Labor was also instructed to start work on organizing routing on the "Work of Russia" portal for future graduates before they complete their training.[1]
