On August 8, 2024, the autonomous non-profit organization Center for the Development and Implementation of Innovative Solutions (ANO Center Rivir) announced the development of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to automatically intercept other drones. The new drone, which looks like a rocket, is capable of speeds up to 300 km/h.
The arsenal of UAVs includes four special cartridges. The destruction of enemy drones is carried out using a fraction. The new Russian drone is part of a promising modular civil air defense (air defense) system, which is also being developed by specialists from the Center Rivir ANO.
