2024: Creation of a system for monitoring the cleaning of urban areas

Satellite monitoring terminals of Perm developer Galileosky track the location and condition of harvesting equipment. Galileosky announced this on August 9, 2024.

The system for monitoring the cleaning of urban areas for UIA "Development Department" Almetyevsk was developed by the company "Urbanomika" - partner of Galileosky. This is the domestic digital platform "Monitor of the City," designed to automate the management and control of technological processes for the maintenance of urban road infrastructure, public and courtyard territories.

So that not a single section of the city was left without cleaning, it was necessary to set up an operational collection of information about the location, state of equipment and its readiness to go to work. For this, the department's fleet was equipped with Galileosky terminals, fuel level sensors and on-board controls. All special equipment was connected to the Urbanomika platform and set up data transmission from the terminals, digitized cleaning regulations, 410 road facilities with a length of 268 km and 111 sections of sidewalks.

Now the customer in online mode monitors the work and monitors the track, mileage, parking, fuel level, refueling and drains, speed, engine hours, the operation of the chassis and attachments, the number and area of removed objects for each car. Thus, the platform contains a digital twin of tasks and regulations, which allows you to effectively manage the entire process: identify violations, monitor the actual implementation of the planned work and send equipment for cleaning on time.

As a result, costs were reduced by 15% due to fuel savings, reduced downtime and streamlined regulations; 25% increase in the volume of work performed and increased the quality of cleaning; 30% reduction in the cost of monitoring the performance of work due to automatic comparison of fact and plan; emergency situations decreased by 17%; 60% faster reporting.

In the future, we plan to add the functionality of a public map on the public portal of the city so that residents can quickly receive information about the amount of utility equipment working in real time. In addition, it is possible to configure a garbage collection control module for convenient centralized planning and monitoring of the operation of garbage trucks with photographic recording of real work.
