2024: Start of pilot operation of 1S:TOIR Corp

At the end of July 2024, pilot operation of the KORP 1S:TOIR began at Cherepovets FMC. This was announced on August 12, 2024 by representatives of the Desnol Soft company.

According to them, this is a key stage in the implementation of the joint JSC "ChFMK" with "Desnol," the developer and: integrator 1CTOIR KORP, the project. Within 12 weeks, the company will launch the main business processes maintenance and repair of equipment. It will make it possible to determine the main areas of optimization of repair activities for subsequent effective work with the EAM system in real production conditions.

The final phase of the Asset Management Process Automation Project will last three months and will help identify key areas for optimizing the mill's repair activities for the subsequent successful commissioning of the KOP 1S:TOIR.

About 60 employees of the repair unit of the enterprise have already received training in practical skills in the KORP 1S:TOIR. They presented three groups of specialists: the main production, the reliability department and the planning department. Educational programs were developed for each group. The production department received a comprehensive idea of ​ ​ registering defects and fixing the condition of the equipment. Reliability and planning specialists focused on mastering the functionality of the system within the framework of their positions.

"Our main task at the PED stage is not just to teach employees how to correctly enter data and use the functionality of the system, but to provide the enterprise with knowledge and materials for subsequent productive work without the participation of Desnol specialists," said Mikhail Shkedin, senior consultant at the Desnol Center for Expertise. "For this, we also helped to develop a methodology and expanded the typical functionality of the KORP 1S:TOIR for the needs and business processes of the plant."

In addition to training and launching the main business processes within the framework of the PPE, Desnol specialists will oversee the stability and performance of the system, as well as provide technical support to users in the real production conditions of ChFMK JSC. For prompt processing of incoming requests, the company will organize the first support line, which will include the employees of the plant themselves. The task of the first line is to classify appeals and provide support on typical issues. Complex technical issues will be resolved by Desnol specialists.

All PED activities in the complex, as well as feedback from users working with the system in real production conditions, will allow optimizing work in the POC 1S:TOIR in accordance with the specifics of the plant's activities and developing recommendations for subsequent effective work in the POC 1S:TOIR without the participation of Desnol specialists.
