In early August 2024, the world's first portable "steamer" for the Yoomiily body was introduced, which allows you to wash without water.

The 4kg device looks like a mini vacuum cleaner. A unique water filtration system pumps water into the "head" of the shower, which releases it in the form of a fine mist, and a powerful pump sucks moisture back into the device. Thus, the treated skin and hair dry out just a few moments after contact with the water. The used liquid is collected in a separate compartment that holds 3 litres of water. The development team claim that thanks to the new technology, Yoomiily is 90% more economical than a traditional shower and uses only 100ml of water to wash short hair with shampoo.

The new device is equipped with replaceable attachments for different functions, with manufacturers claiming that Yoomiily can even be used to wash pets. Yoomiily is powered by a battery that charges for two hours and provides an hour of continuous operation. At the same time, according to the creators, washing the body takes the user only a couple of minutes, and washing short hair with shampoo - only one minute.

The creators of Yoomily claim that the new gadget is ideal for caregivers of the sick and elderly, as well as for people who cannot move independently. Thanks to the new device, they will not have to enter the "wet zone," for example, the bathroom, and the head can be washed without removing clothes. In addition, the new gadget allows you to wash without wetting certain parts of the body, for example, when healing deep wounds.

The production of Yoomiily is funded by a crowdfunding campaign, whose fees have already exceeded their targets by more than 50 times. The new gadget will be launched in October 2024. On the crowdfunding platform, the base block is available for $249, 56% less than the retail price.^[1]
