2024: Product Announcement
In mid-July 2024, the British company Dexory introduced a warehouse robotic platform that simplifies product accounting and logistics operations. The machine is capable of scanning products daily per 100 thousand pallets.
Dexory calls its brainchild the world's tallest autonomous warehouse robot. The machine with a retractable tower has a height of almost 14 meters in a decomposed state. The equipment includes numerous high-resolution cameras, temperature, humidity, noise and light sensors. The robot can scan huge areas with high efficiency and accuracy. The machine independently moves along the warehouse aisles, collects all kinds of information, and then returns to the docking station, while avoiding collisions with obstacles.
The robotic system uses advanced technologies such as machine vision and simultaneous localization and mapping. The data obtained can be used to build a digital double of the warehouse. Such a model provides comprehensive information about the movement of goods, storage conditions and operational efficiency. Thus, careful inventory management is ensured: the warehouse operator can find out at any time how many products are stored in a specific place and, if necessary, perform certain actions, for example, a request for replenishment. In addition, the processing of shipping orders for goods is significantly accelerated.
Our goal is to ensure unprecedented transparency and efficiency of global warehouse networks. Using the capabilities of robotics and intelligent software, we are striving to take warehouse operations to the next level, "says Andrei Danescu, CEO of Dexory.[1] |
