"Digital buddy" from DeepPavlov.ai will help May employees perform work tasks

2024: Digital Assistant Development Plan

The development team DeepPavlov.ai in collaboration with Mai, one of the Russian tea and coffee producers, will develop a prototype digital assistant based on large language models to help employees. May announced this on August 19, 2024.

A "digital buddy" is a virtual consultant trained on real-world work tasks and cases, a vast array of the company's knowledge base, employee questions and other data. He will help in solving any production task: from setting up the machine and carrying out any operation in production to teaching the working methods of sales representatives and merchandisers and much more. This will significantly increase the efficiency of employees, helping to quickly find answers to almost any work questions. The virtual consultant will be the first universal domestic AI assistant to be used by both office workers and real-world workers.

It is planned to finalize the models for the consultant in the near future. The partners intend to begin real use of the first version of the "Digital Buddy" by the end of the summer of 2024. At the first stage, the consultant can be asked a question in writing, but in the near future speech recognition will be introduced into it. The digital assistant will be the first stage of the long-term cooperation program aimed at the development and application of artificial intelligence to the business processes of MAI.
