Biography

He worked as the head of the IT department at MetaChem, a company that has been part of the PhosAgro group since 2012 and later renamed the Apatit Volkhov branch (Volkhov chemical cluster of the PhosAgro group).

Later, he served as director of the infrastructure department of the Apatita Information Technology Directorate (part of the PhosAgro group), the largest producer of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, phosphoric and sulfuric acids in Europe.

2025: CIO "Apatit "

In July 2025, Igor Kurashov was appointed Deputy General Director for Information Technology Apatit. In this position, he replaced Denis Novikov, who was responsible for IT Apatita and the entire PhosAgro as deputy head of the company since 2023.

As TAdviser was specified in PhosAgro, this personnel reshuffle is associated with the promotion of Denis Novikov on the career ladder - he became the executive director of Apatit. At the same time, Denis Novikov continues to keep his hand on the IT pulse - he still oversees this area in the company.

At the time of personnel replacement, the IT team of the entire PhosAgro has about 800 people. In a new capacity, Denis Novikov and Igor Kurashov at the end of July appeared before the team at the largest IT rally in the history of the company, held in Sosnovka in the Vologda region.

Today PhosAgro is the leader in import substitution of software and IT infrastructure. It also dynamically develops a new breakthrough direction of artificial intelligence, both in production and auxiliary processes, as well as in the field of information security and research activities. We need a cool IT team that can work quickly and efficiently and interact with each other, - Denis Novikov emphasized[1]

The change of the deputy general director for IT "Apatit" followed the appointment of Alexander Gilgenberg in July to the post of general director of the company. After that, the position of technical director also appeared in the staffing table of the Cherepovets Apatit complex. From July 1, these duties are performed by Alexander Filatov, previously - the head of the Phosphorus department of a large chemical holding.
