2024: Plant Launch

In Saratov, in July 2024, a new dairy production plant was launched. Investments in the project amounted to ₽1,6 billion. The enterprise, built by Sokol Dairy Plant LLC, is located on the territory of the Stolypinsky Industrial Park.

According to the management company of the industrial park, the new production specializes in milk processing and the production of a wide range of dairy products. The company plans to make cheeses, yogurts, ice cream and other dairy products.

A dairy production plant was launched in Saratov for 1.6 billion rubles

Artur Simonyan, General Director of Milk Plant Sokol LLC, noted that the main goal is to create a modern milk processing plant with the possibility of further expanding the range of products.

The implementation of the project will create 260 new jobs in the region. This will significantly affect the socio-economic development of the Saratov region, contributing to a decrease in unemployment and an increase in the well-being of the local population.

Alexey Likhachev, director of the management company of the Stolypin Industrial Park, emphasized the importance of new production for the region.

The decision to locate the plant in the Stolypinsky Industrial Park was made at a meeting of a special commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Investment Policy, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Region, the profile committee of the Saratov City Defense Ministry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Saratov Region and other organizations. It is expected that the enterprise will not only provide the local market with high-quality dairy products, but also create additional incentives for the development of dairy farming in the region.[1]
