The Borlas consulting group brought into commercial operation the automated control system for work in wholesale market of the electric power and management of export-import transactions developed for the Inter RAO UES energy company, RAO UES of Russia joint venture and Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosenergoatom Concern.
Inter RAO UES is engaged in the organization of international supplies of the electric power. Emergence in Russia of the wholesale market of the electric power which began the work in September, 2006 demanded making changes in the current business processes of the company and creation for their implementation of a new information system for automation of work of power traders, conducting contract work in wholesale market of the electric power and at export-import transactions, optimization of the choice of partners at the conclusion of transactions, financial accounting of transactions.
A system was developed on the Oracle platform. Its users are about 50 employees of customer company today.
