On the inner surface of the ring there are three sensors - an accelerometer, a temperature sensor and an optical biosensor for determining the heart rate. The gadget allows you to analyze activity during the day, as well as track the quality and duration of sleep. You can collect and analyze data during training - for example, during runs. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Ring can last for seven days on a single battery charge. However, many owners of the device say that in practice the indicator is much lower.

Thus, Sammobile observers who tested the smart ring initially received about six days of battery life, which is close to the figure announced by Samsung. However, over time, the gadget began to discharge much faster: you have to replenish the energy supply every three days. Other users even declare that their copy of the Galaxy Ring can lose half the charge after just 15 hours of operation.

According to some network sources, the problem may be programmatic in nature. In this case, Samsung will be able to eliminate it in one of the future updates. The manufacturer itself, as of August 23, 2024, does not comment on the situation in any way.^[1]
