EME completes Holex warehouse automation project

2024: Warehouse Automation with. Borinskoye

EME has completed the project to automate the new HOLEX warehouse. The introduction of WMS took place at the same time as construction. As of July 2024, the warehouse is operating in full mode under the management of EME.WMS. EME announced this on July 7, 2024.

Two warehouse complexes of the company are located in the Lipetsk region. The total area is more than 10,000 sq.m.

The first site for automation was the warehouse of finished products in the village. Borinskoye, with an area of ​ ​ 5,200 sq.m.

The EME team was tasked with automating warehouse business processes, implementing professional WMS and improving warehouse efficiency:

• Zoning by commodity and different storage types.
• Implement serial number and batch accounting.
• Improved accuracy of stock goods accounting.
• Organization of inventory accounting during production (packing).
• Reduction of products with expiring shelf life.
• Increase the speed and accuracy of warehouse employees.
• Optimizing headcount by switching to piecework based on KPIs.
• Organization of responsible storage services based on transaction billing.
• Integration with the enterprise 1C system.

The implementation of EME.WMS was carried out at the company's warehouse at the same time as its construction. This certainly required special coherence and clarity of the EME-HOLEX team. All tasks were completed on time. The goods acceptance to the warehouse was started already in EME.WMS. As of July 2024, the HOLEX warehouse is operating in full mode.

Within the framework of the project, KPI modules were introduced (analysis of the efficiency of employees with adjustment for the specifics of the company's work), EME Indicators (Dashboards), and a 3D warehouse.

To speed up business processes in the warehouse, EME specialists have developed and applied mechanisms for implementing partial replenishment of picking, changing the logic of acceptance in the warehouse and working with packages and high-temperature storage.

The plans for further cooperation include integration with Honest Sign, development of KPI and EME modules. Indicators, as well as automation of the second HOLEX warehouse during production.
