2024: Announcement

At the end of August 2024, it became known that the state corporation Rosatom registered the Voyt trademark in the class of cars. Electric cars in different types of bodies will be produced under it.

It is reported that Rosatom is designing a universal platform for electric vehicles. It includes a chassis, a charging system, a power plant and a control system. It is assumed that sedans, crossovers, hatchbacks and minibuses will be created on the basis of the platform. According to Roman Voit, head of the electric mobility project in the composite division of Rosatom, the supporting structure provides for the use of a hollow profilya of coal composites, inside which a traction battery is placed.

According to Voight, on the basis of the platform, with relatively small production volumes (up to 10 thousand units per year), it is possible to produce electric vehicles at cost comparable to conventional cars equipped with an internal combustion engine. In particular, an electric delivery van has been demonstrated as part of the "last mile" - iz the distribution center to the customer threshold. This two-seater with a cargo space of 3 cubic meters has a carrying capacity of 600 kg. It is capable of covering a distance of okolo 300 km on a single charge of the battery pack.
