Autodesk Factory Layout Optimization

The superstructure of Factory Layout Optimization for AutoCAD and directly for products on its platform allows to implement more economical production methods at which the number of waste decreases and the overall effectiveness of production increases. The preliminary application version provides configuration of industrial facilities in real time and optimizes material handling.

Using Factory Layout Optimization, production engineers and designers of production facilities can use available 2D - the plans created in AutoCAD for a task of ways of movement and places of loading unloading of materials in the enterprise. The new technology provides instant obtaining information allowing already at early design stages precisely to estimate options of configuration of the factory equipment. The preliminary application version can be used both with new, and with prepared earlier 2D - drawings in AutoCAD 2011, AutoCAD Architecture 2011, AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 and Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2011. This product supports 32-and 64-bit versions of the listed products; language of the user interface Factory Layout Optimization for AutoCAD - English, however the preliminary version is capable to work also with the localized options of the supported products.

The Factory Layout Optimization application will be available to AutoCAD on Autodesk Labs during the limited time frame.
