In Tatarstan, IT equipment worth over ₽2 billion was purchased for schools and colleges, which became part of the preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year. The completion of large contracts at the end of August 2024 was announced by the head of the State Procurement Committee of the republic, Marat Ziatdinov.

According to TASS, within the framework of the program, more than 20 batches of inventory were purchased for educational institutions of secondary vocational education (SPO), which includes updated digital equipment and modern furniture. In addition to this, tractors and trucks were purchased for educational purposes, which will be used in practical classes. Significant purchases of equipment for the manufacture and piloting of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were also made.

In addition, about ₽1 billion was allocated for purchases related to catering in kindergartens, which emphasizes the republic's comprehensive approach to providing high-quality education and comfort for children.

According to Ziatdinov, a regional register of unscrupulous suppliers is actively operating in Tatarstan, which allows timely detection and elimination of violations in the field of public procurement. All cases of identified violations are transferred to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan for further consideration and adoption of measures.

This work is carried out within the framework of the national project "," Education the implementation of which is carried out by decree of the President. Russia Vladimir Putin The project is aimed at creating modern conditions for the education and development of children and adolescents in the country, as well as improving the material and technical base of educational institutions.

In addition to the purchase of equipment in Tatarstan, major repairs of educational institutions are being actively carried out. According to the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic Marat Aizatullin, major repairs have been completed by 94% of educational facilities. In total, 185 schools and kindergartens were updated in 2024, which is also part of the implementation of the national project.[1]
